Bridging Communities
At Homecrest, we believe that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.
Our programs are built on the belief that communities are strongest when every individual, regardless of age, background, or language, feels a sense of belonging. Whether you are an older adult looking for connection, a young person seeking opportunity, or just finding your footing, we are here for you.
We strive to create an inclusive space where everyone can access the resources they need to thrive. By offering support and empowerment, we help individuals build the foundation for a brighter future. Homecrest celebrates the cultures and dreams of the people who walk through our doors, and we are proud to lift up voices that have not always been heard.

Awareness, Communication, & Safety
Community Workshops
Our Community Safety Workshops, hosted in partnership with the NYPD, foster dialogue, build trust, and create safer neighborhoods by connecting immigrant families and older adults with local officers in a culturally respectful setting. These workshops are part of our broader commitment to bridge communities and ensure equitable access to public safety resources.
Art, Music, & Movement
Multi-Cultural Activities
Our multicultural programs promote inclusion and cultural understanding. By exploring diverse traditions and partnering with cultural organizations, we create opportunities for connection, learning, and celebration across communities.

Asian American Federation (AAF)
Hope Against Hate
The Hope Against Hate campaign, led by the Asian American Federation (AAF), sought to strengthen safety and solidarity in our communities in response to rising anti-Asian violence. Through a series of workshops and community trainings, our staff, volunteers, and community members received tools to recognize hate incidents, respond effectively, and support one another.
Coalition of Asian-American IPA (CAIPA)
"Our Community, Our Voice"
HCS partnered with the CAIPA to launch "Our Community, Our Voice" — a public awareness initiative aimed at addressing anti-AAPI hate. Together, we created and distributed free booklets that feature firsthand accounts of anti-Asian hate incidents shared by community members.
The project serves as both a platform for storytelling and a call for collective action, emphasizing the importance of unity, visibility, and solidarity in confronting hate and promoting safety across our neighborhoods.

The Asian-American Foundation | Commitee of 100
AAPI Hate Tracker
In partnership with The Asian American Foundation (TAAF), we are helping to shed light on anti-Asian hate by encouraging our community members to report incidents to the national AAPI Hate Tracker. Many acts of hate and bias often go unreported, leaving our communities invisible in data and disconnected from solutions. By providing a trusted platform for sharing these experiences, we ensure that our voices are heard, our stories are counted, and our communities are seen.
The Guild for Exceptional Children, Inc. (GEC)
Coin Drive
Last summer, our community came together to raise money for The Guild for Exceptional Children, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Each contribution, no matter the size, added up to something meaningful—showing the power of collective generosity and care.
