Jayson Lam, a senior manager in KPMG’s Chicago Asset Management Tax practice, brings 16 years of tax and accounting experience in both the public and private sectors. Raised in Bay Ridge, Jayson is a seasoned professional specializing in partnership taxation, offering both tax advisory and compliance services. With a rich career spanning 14 years at major fund administration businesses and an additional 2 years at a public accounting firm, Jayson has honed his expertise in managing tax compliance services for various asset managers within the private equity sector. His role extends to supporting tax product, sales, and other teams, demonstrating strong collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to provide quality end-to-end service.
Jayson is deeply passionate about helping the community, a value encouraged by his company. By becoming a board member, he aims to participate in numerous community service projects and engage with local organizations and initiatives in Brooklyn to build a circle of support. His dedication to community service and his extensive professional background make him a valuable addition to the Homecrest Community Services board.
Joanna Wu

Joanna Lynn Wu is an accomplished professional with 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector. She excels in creating innovative community events with a robust background in physical security and data analysis.
​
Some of her qualifications are developing and implementing policies to support staff dealing with PTSD, creating and managing community events, developing resource material for crisis response, marketing and budgeting analysis.
​
She has received her bachelor’s degree in economics at College of Staten Island and her Executive Master’s in Business Administration at Baruch College.

Joanna has received the AT&T top women award for community outreach. She passionately volunteers her free time to implement diverse policies and identify valuable resources for various organizations. It is her personal mission to make a meaningful impact through her work, ensuring that every effort contributes positively to the community she serves.
Kin Ng

Kin has dedicated over 30 years to the Brooklyn DA’s office, handling a broad spectrum of felonies, including burglaries, sexual offenses, robberies, and homicides. He has served in significant management roles, such as Deputy Bureau Chief in the arrest intake and Criminal Court, and Bureau Chief of the Domestic Violence Bureau. From 2007 to 2013, Kin directed training for over 500 ADAs, led internship programs, and trained police officers on public integrity and ethics. He also taught at John Jay College as an Adjunct Professor. In 2014, he was appointed Felony Deputy Bureau Chief of the Orange Zone Trial Bureau, later advancing to Chief of the Immigrant Fraud Unit, where he successfully prosecuted offenders targeting Brooklyn’s immigrant community. In 2017, he became the first APIA Bureau Chief of a major trial bureau and currently serves as Bureau Chief of Trial Bureau II – Blue Zone.
Kin is deeply engaged with the community through his lectures on criminal justice, public service, diversity, and leadership. As an EEO counselor and senior member of the KCDA legal hiring board, he advocates for fairness and inclusivity. His active roles in the Asian American Bar Association of New York and as a founding member of the National Asian Pacific Islander Prosecutors Association further illustrate his commitment to empowering minority communities. Kin’s blend of extensive professional experience and a genuine passion for community service positions him as a valuable and inspiring member of the board.
